Grief movement for motherless daughters is a space for any daughter-identifying person who has experienced the death of their mother. We will move through grief related to our mother loss. We will explore the ways in which our body stores grief through breathwork, gentle movement, and ritual connected through our senses. Please bring a token to represent your mother- photo, small item that belonged to her, or a small token that reminds you of her. We will use these items to set up our collective alter.
This space is held by Erin Ditmarson (she/her) - a certified yoga instructor with her 200hr RYT-T , 65hr Perinatal YTT, and various Trauma-Informed movement certifications. She specializes in perinatal movement, grief movement, and death work. She has worked in social services involving trauma-informed and grief spaces for several years and aims to help others on their path to healing through movement, energy work, and holding collective space. Erin strives to make her yoga instruction accessible and adaptable to what your body needs, as well as honor the roots of the culture in each practice.
This gathering is not therapy, counseling, or crisis intervention. Rather, it is a community-centered opportunity to be in the company of others navigating this human experience.
