We are excited to partner with Flora for an opportunity to participate in their beta testing program! In addition to testing the Flora app on devices provided to participants, snacks and drinks will also be offered.
What is Flora? Flora is an educational platform created to support girls as they navigate puberty and early adolescence. Flora's goal is to provide age appropriate, encouraging, and medically informed content that helps girls build confidence and supports healthy conversations between girls and trusted adults.
What is Beta Testing? Beta testing gives families early access to select Flora materials before they are publicly available. This allows Flora to gather feedback to ensure the content is clear, supportive, and helpful for both girls and caregivers. This is not a clinical study or graded program, and there are no right or wrong answers.
What Participation Looks Like: Flora provides girls access to a limited set of Flora materials, such as educational lessons and quizzes, to explore at their own pace. Parents, guardians, or mentors may be asked to complete short feedback forms and may optionally share additional thoughts or suggestions.
What Flora Asks From Parents and Guardians: Flora asks that parents, guardians or mentors review the materials, share honest feedback, and let us know if anything feels unclear or uncomfortable.
How Feedback Is Used: Feedback collected during beta testing is used only to improve Flora’s content and overall experience prior to launch. Any insights shared outside the Flora team will be anonymized and summarized.
Privacy and Consent: This overview is provided alongside a separate consent form that explains participation, privacy, and data use in more detail. Please review that document, which will be emailed after registration is complete, before participating.

Please note that all Girls Rise Up gatherings are free for participants. Girls who are in the process of being matched with a mentor or who have chosen not to be a part of our mentor program are welcome to attend (caregiver attendance may be required).
